My name is Jarid Raftery and I am currently an undergraduate at Pace Univeristy in New York. I am pursuing a bachelor of business administration in marketing with a concentration in advertising and promotion. I am working towards a French Studies minor. I spent the spring 2013 semester studying at CEFAM (Centre d'Études Franco-Américain de Management) in Lyon, France.

I have maintained an active presence on campus during my time at Pace. I have served as an active member of the Pace University Advertising Club since freshman year and by working as a peer leader for incoming undergraduates during my sophomore year. Additionally, I participated in the "Face of Pace" photoshoot this fall and the pictures will be used in promotional material for Pace University. I am currently a member of the Pace University Advertising Team and we are in the process of developing a marketing campaign for Mary Kay. I have a variety of work experience that has given me numerous skills applicable to the marketing world. My various positions within the YMCA have taught me patience, organization, and leadership. Working in a retail setting in New York provided an opportunity to experience concepts learned in classes such client service, the inventory process, and advertising and promotion strategies. For the fall 2013 semester I am internning at Lockard & Wechsler, a media planning agency in Irvington, New York.
